NEWS
Kingston is launching a new website to encourage investment and attract talent.
Newcomers and potential immigrants will get the information they need to live, work and invest successfully in the community through www.immigrationkingston.ca . The site provides practical information and resource links about the region on such topics as:
- finding a home or daycare
- getting a job or career planning
- locating a school or university
- starting a business or investing
The new website is one of twenty-one municipal websites designed to help regions across the province promote themselves around the world. All the websites will be linked to ontario.ca/immigration, which provides information to newcomers.
Municipal portals are part of a $10 million investment, over five years, through the Canada-Ontario Immigration Agreement.
