| Ontario Disability Support Plan (ODSP) The ODSP has two components: it is an income support program for people with disabilities who are in financial need, and an employment support program that recognizes many people with disabilities can and do want to work. In order to be eligible for ODSP benefits, the applicant must be 18 years of age or older, be in financial need, and have assets no greater than limits set for the program. Before an applicant's disability is assessed, it must be determined that he/she meets the financial requirements. You may be considered a person with a disability if:
